Chanel
BEAUTY — 2026, PARIS, FRANCE & TOKYO, JAPAN
CHANEL Studio de Création Maquillage sought a cultural and aesthetic reading of contemporary Japanese beauty emotions to inform future creative direction. The objective was to understand how premium and young Japanese consumers redefine beauty through restraint, individuality, ritual, and emotional subtlety, and how color is experienced as tone, atmosphere, and accent rather than overt statement—across fashion, beauty, art, and visual culture.
